Soft Closure

The Idaho State Board of Education met on April 6 to discuss whether or not to extend the soft closure (the initial soft closure extended through April 20). The board’s decision was to extend the soft closure indefinitely until re-opening criteria established by the Idaho State Board of Education have been met (click here for the criteria).

Our continuation of learning for our students during this soft closure will proceed as follows:

For our secondary students (grades 6-12), our intent is to continue educating students in their current classes, including most electives, and the content will be primarily delivered online.

For our elementary students (grades PK-5), the focus during this soft closure will be on ELA and math with with some opportunities for elective classes, and learning material will be made available in packets (paper and pencil), and not online.
