Applied Geometry
Course Overview/Description:
This is a two-semester course that covers the definitions of geometric terms and shapes. Students will use formulas to find area, surface area, volume, midpoints, and lengths of sides of triangles. Similarity and congruence are studied. Real world uses and modeling of situation by shapes is covered in depth.
